What are the pros? Easy, no major pest problems
What are the cons? None
Easy to grow. I forgot about it, but it did fine. I didnt get the usual cabbage pests and caterpillars like some varieties I have tried in the past. Mine also didnt maintain tight, napa style heads, but were more open and flower like. It's a keeper!

Nice flavor when stir fried with a garlic, little salt and soy sauce.
What are the pros? Resilient, hasn't bolted yet!
This cabbage is super easy to grow. I leave for a few months with a drip timer, and they grew like weed. For some reason the ones I grew spread out like a flower and not like the bulb you typically see as pictured.

What are the pros? Heat, bug and drought tolerant
I planted this is a large pot in a hot place in the garden, along with a tomato plant. I picked leaves in July thinking they would soon brown out. What a mistake! It is mid-August with temps regularly in the upper 90s since May (!) and I just picked a head of this from one bit of growth that escaped my earlier picking. I did regularly use diatomaceous earth to keep bugs under control, and the leaves aren't perfect specimens, but hey, cabbage in Kansas City in August? I will be growing this again! Perfect shredded on fish tacos.
