This is an amazing variety after the generic "black beauty" I've been used to growing. As usual with my zucchini, I missed a squash for a couple days or over the weekend and found one nearly 2 feet long. I figured it would have tough seeds I'd have to scrape out of the center. To my surprise, it was still tender all the way through! Even the skin didn't seem to have toughened up at all. I'll be growing this every year now.
