Review:

I grew this in zone 3 and put out the whole package of seed over a new garden that used to be a goat and sheep winter paddock. The plants were robust in my cooler season. Although they have a bush habit, the bushes spread out to cover an area 6 x 6 feet. I planted these on May 20th, when the weather warmed up. But June gave us a chill and temperatures dropped to just above freezing a few nights. The squash plants soldiered on and we had baby zucchini beginning the third week of July. Our nights often dip down to 40F but this summer squash doesn't skip a beat. I also planted patty pan squash, yellow zucchini, and black beauty zucchini at the same time. It's now the first week of September and we have yet to harvest either the patty pan, the yellow zucchini, or the Black Beauty. Thi squash is sweet and tender even up to torpedo size. I've grilled the 12 inch squash, made zucchini bites from the larger squash and sauteed the baby squash. I'll definitely grow this again.
