What are the pros? Prolific, consistent, hardy
What are the cons? none
Not the largest jalapeno pepper I've ever grown. But very nice heat! Makes wonderful salsa. Plump, firm, prolific to the first frost. Plant was hardy and does very well. Blooms set more at the end of the season when it cools back into the 80's here. What I really really like about the pepper is how well the pepper freezes. I freeze my own tomato / pepper salsa base for the winter months. The pepper holds up very very well from freezing without taking on the frozen pepper taint that I don't like. Tastes as fresh as the day it was diced.
