This was my second year growing this pepper in 5 gallon containers. I get 10-15 peppers per plant, which is acceptable for the soil volume. I grew in both buckets with drainage holes and self-watering buckets, similar growth and yield for both (but no wilting in summer heat in the latter).
The peppers themselves are very attractive, somewhat resembling a 5-6" tall habanero. Flesh is thin and firm, fairly dry, and excellent on pizza and in salads. Flavor is intense, though not as strong as a seasoning pepper, with zero heat. They dehydrated faster than any other variety I grew this year, and the powder is great in a pot of chili.
I plan to grow half a dozen in 7 gallon growbags next year and see if the yield improves. I am overwintering a few as well.
