50 days. Originally from Abundant Life Foundation. Very large, spreading, loose-leaf heads. Leaves are large, wavy-margined, suffused in burgundy. Nutty, crisp texture, bitter-free flavor. Slow to bolt, standing a very long time in the garden. Glorious!

What are the pros? Pretty plant, great flavor,

What are the cons? None

Review:

This lettuce is a pretty olive-y green with burgundy margins. The plants have been very healthy. It has a great flavor; I usually serve simply dressed with olive oil, a little salt, and some balsamic. It has required no special care, produces well, was quick to produce, It is showing no signs of bolting in the latter half of May in North Texas. I harvest individual leaves, and the plants quickly make more. This and Yedikule lettuce have kept us in salads all spring. This definitely will have a place in my garden in the future.

What are the pros? Easy to grow. Not bitter

What are the cons? None

Review:

This lettuce looks really pretty when planted in a lettuce mix in a square foot garden. It is distinctive looking, hardy and did not get bitter until it started to get really hot out.

What are the pros? Productive Taste Warm Tolerant

What are the cons? Nothing

Review:

This is my first and so far only review of dozens of seeds I've tried from here if that says anything. I planted this lettuce a little on the late side here last spring (Zone 6B / SW Virginia). I direct seeded around the very end of April, first of May. The lettuce stood out among many others I tried for remaining productive and having relatively little bitterness well into the heat of summer. The same plants kept producing even into July as I harvested the outer mature leaves. (Another standout was "Little Gem") No complaints. Buy this lettuce seed.

What are the pros? Hearty, tender, slow to bolt.

What are the cons? none as yet

Review:

This lettuce has been a nice surprise. Keeps on producing as cut-and-come-again. September transplants still productive the following February. Tender, sweet leaf. Absolute all-star.

What are the pros? Hardy, great flavor, beautiful

What are the cons? None

Review:

Fast growing crisp leaves with excellent nutty flavor. Started from seed in late August and harvested cut and come again until Christmas here in central NJ. A wonderful addition to my lettuce bed.
