50 days. Originally from Abundant Life Foundation. Very large, spreading, loose-leaf heads. Leaves are large, wavy-margined, suffused in burgundy. Nutty, crisp texture, bitter-free flavor. Slow to bolt, standing a very long time in the garden. Glorious!

Review:

I harvested leaves off this for a while (a few months) before it started getting too hot here and I had to harvest the head before it bolt. The leaves get quite long and it has a wonderful texture similar to romaine. I'm always amazed at how much longer the lettuce I harvest from my garden stays fresh for weeks in my fridge. My family and neighbors agree this is a tasty lettuce.

Review:

This lettuce is as cool as the picture. Really neat. It kind of grows out and down in a pretty cascade of green and red leaves. It tastes great too and didn't get bitter too quickly in hot Sacramento, though it did eventually and as expected and became bitter... as expected. It gets HOT here. But I harvested many a leaf for fun, delicious salads for weeks in spring and early summer. Thumbs up!

Review:

Best lettuce i've grown and really my favorite. Hardy, fast growing, tolerates transplanting.
