What are the pros? They did mature early.
What are the cons? nasty corn
The stalks were really short, like 3 or 4 feet. They did mature early, but it's not worth our garden space because the corn was very bland and squishy. And the ears were really small, most deformed. If we cooked the corn too little, it was obviously raw, but in a matter of a minute the corn got squishy, the constancy of play dough in your mouth. Not pleasant, to say in the least--the chickens got to eat all the rest. The only good thing about it was I decided to plant pumpkins in-between the rows of corn (we planted Moranga squash) and they did really great, so I was glad that the garden space wasn't totally wasted. :) Oh, and the cow will get to eat the corn stalks. :) We'll keep trying different varieties and see what works for us. But this is really disappointing corn.
