What are the pros? Great taste

What are the cons? A little slow to mature

Review:

Overall this bean was great. First time growing a bush bean and we grew this one along with Tongues of Fire. It took a little longer to mature, though we had a pretty wet start to the season, but once it started going the beans kept coming pretty heavy for about 2 weeks, then it was about a handful or so a day. I found that this variety was more resistant to disease compared to the other type we had and seem to stay greener and just overall healthier. I love the flavor of this, its sweet and crisp and the color is amazing.

What are the pros? Vigorous, nice colors, flavor!

What are the cons? Inconsistent growth pattern

Review:

The Dragon's Tongue bean is a real stunner, and performer in my northern garden. The pods grow fast into very plump, long and stringless beans with an intense bean flavor. There are really no drawbacks to this variety, aside from one, rather odd thing. Some of the beans stay short and stocky like a proper bush bean, while others I planted kept growing like pole beans and has a thinner stem climbing to 4 feet or taller. This seems in my case to be the ones that were planted indoors and in the greenhouse. The ones in the field all stayed small. Both "sub-varieties" produced well though, so in my mind it was no harm no foul.

Review:

I love these beans! I don’t get a giant yield but I’m also impatient bc they are so yummy! I love that I can just look and see them since they aren’t green. They grow fast and are awesome in stir fry.. half of the time, they don’t make it to the kitchen bc I eat them while picking!

What are the cons? not sure yet

Review:

60 day maturity did not happen for me. Beautiful bushes and flowers but no beans so far? I planted mid May and nothing so far except flowers. maybe a cold snap stunted them. Waiting.

Review:

Absolute fantastic beans. They’re thriving during a very hot summer season and quite prolific. Plus they taste amazing fresh picked or cooked. I’ve already purchased another package of seeds. Amazing!
