What are the pros? easier then other brasiccas
What are the cons? Gets mealy in summer heat
This year was my first year growing kohlrabi, and I will be planting it every year! The bulbs are strange to look at, which for me adds to the appeal. The flavor is what really won me over. Sweet and crunchy, great raw or cooked. The flavor is similar to cabbage but more crisp and tender when harvested young. It would be great for a child's garden.
