An ornamental medicinal beloved by butterflies, birds and bees! Green Twister is a wild take on our favorite immune-boosting herb. Electrifying green and magenta petals are like a flashing neon sign for pollinators, and indeed, this variety is a hot spot for beneficial garden visitors. Drought tolerant and easy to grow, this perennial will provide medicinal benefits and pollinator attraction each year with good looks to boot!

What are the pros? Lovely flowers

What are the cons? None

Review:

So I've never grown this flower/medicinal plant before. I was told echinacea wouldn't grow well here in Hawaii. I feel like this plant did pretty well. I didn't get as much color as in the picture, but I'm not surprised. Pictures are usually a representation of the best of the best. I got some pale purple and medium green flowers. I just harvested seeds off one flower head and am looking forward to future generations of pretty flowers. I will keep on growing things "you can't grow in Hawaii" because I love a challenge. Flea beetles were the only pest my plants encountered.

What are the pros? A natural variant, not a hybri

What are the cons? Nothing so far

Review:

If you really want to help pollinators, pure species is best, but this is actually a "sport" of traditional echinacea and not a bred hybrid, natural mutation. Impressive and different flowers, it is also shorter than the species, which is useful. It grew well from seed, almost produced seeds the 1st year. Easy to grow.
