What are the pros? set a lot even in semi-shade
What are the cons? No luck drying them in house
I grew a couple of these plants in a less-than-ideal location--not more than 4 or 5 hours of direct sun daily, in very gravely clay soil on a slope (so hard to water well during dry spells). Even with all this going against them, the plants set loads of small chilis and kept producing until I ripped them out in October. The peppers didn't grow much longer than about 3 inches for me, and the plants sprawled rather than growing upright. But considering the poor location, I was surprised they produced at all. They ripened quickly to a beautiful ruby red, so were very easy to spot.
