A beautiful European selection, Fantazja means “imagination” in Polish. This tall, multi-branched classic sunflower makes for a fantastic cover up plant for walls, fences or whatever needs covered; the plant quickly and thickly fills a space with vibrant multicolored blooms ranging from canary yellow to beautiful bronze. Heads are 4-6 inches across, canary yellow with a large, dark brown center.

What are the pros? tons of blooms per plant

What are the cons? bushy, not tall

Review:

I planted some of these in the middle of my garden, expecting to be able to use the tall stems as a trellis for my cucumber vines. Nope. Instead I have a massive sunflower bush about 5 feet across and 4 feet tall that's shading my cucumbers into the path. Oh, well. They're very pretty, and the bees LOVE them--there are like 20 blooms per plant right now in mid-August. Keeping my pollinators very happy. I'll grow them again, but not right there. I'm not sure how they got a handful of sunflowers that all look different--mine are all pale gold with a touch of red toward the center. Maybe each plant is different, and I just got all the same pattern?

What are the pros? Near perfect germination

What are the cons? None

Review:

These sunflowers are absolutely stunning! They grew in poor sandy soil with no fertilizer and the colors were soooooo pretty!
