What are the pros? Flavor
What are the cons? Not very healthy or robust
This year was my first year really starting to explore peppers. I grew some jalapenos, anaheims, jimmy nardello (a favorite of mine), and this one. I've got 20 or so total plants, 4 of which are Friariello Di Napoli, and those 4 are my least robust and productive by far. All my peppers were started in the same conditions at the same time from seed. These plants were not robust, didn't grow good root systems while in cups under lights, and took over a month longer to set fruit than my other peppers. Even now, they are my weakest growers. Fruit was nothing special when I finally did get it. I will not grow this one again. Wasted space in the garden in my opinion.
