Chinese Pink Garlic- Best in zones 2-7. Hardneck. This delicious, robustly flavored turban-type garlic is very early to mature and will surely be the first variety you harvest. Its perfect balance of strong garlicky flavor with mild heat will not burn the nose. It yields an average of 11 small to medium cloves per bulb. You will want to eat these quickly, as their shelf life is only about 2 to 4 months. Turban-type garlic varieties are quite cold-hardy and are especially well suited to the Southwest when irrigation is provided.
