A spectacular stuffing tomato with gorgeous golden streaked skin. This crisp fleshed and hollow variety is perfectly suited to stuffing, superb when eaten raw but also holds up beautifully when baked. Fruit averages 5-7 ounces each and is similar to a bell pepper in shape. The skin of this variety is gilded in light streaks of gold. Medium large with a strawberry-like seed cluster in the middle that is easy to scoop out. Delicious stuffed with various stuffings raw or cooked. Shaped like a bell pepper with crispy texture but great tomato flavor. Stands up well to powdery mildew. Originally bred by incredible plant breeder Tom Wagner!

What are the pros? Strong plant, stunning fruit

What are the cons? none

Review:

I just love how these turned out! Very prolific, good sized, taste wonderful. Flesh is a bit mealy, but holds up well to stuffing. To date, at least two dozen tomatoes from a single plant. They are worth growing for the beauty of the fruit!

What are the pros? BEAUTIFUL, didn't crack

What are the cons? a bit bland

Review:

Super easy to seed, GREAT when stuffed (obviously), raw the first ones we harvested were a bit grainy because we over watered them. Decreased the water and the texture and skin quality improved. one of the most beautiful tomatoes for presentation. Didn't split or have any disease/mildew issues at all. Will grow this one again, though we did have to hand pollinate everything this year due to a lack of bees. I will make sure I hand pollinate this one as early as I can so hopefully I can get more from each plant. We are ave only 4 per plant.

What are the pros? Beautiful with no blemishes

What are the cons? could be a tad bigger

Review:

Grew these in zone 6a for the first time this year. They have done wonderfully! Seem to be pretty prolific. Hardly any bug spots and zero cracks. Made stuffed tomatoes with them since we aren't a fan of peppers and LOVED them. Most of them were a perfect size for stuffing, though some are on the smaller size-doesn't matter to us. They are complementary sweet to our filling. The most beautiful tomato in my garden!

What are the pros? looks nice we

What are the cons? mealy flavorless tomato.

Review:

this tomato is terrible. it is mealy and flavorless. flavor does not improve with cooking. if you want to stuff tomatoes I recommend taking the extra time to hollow out a flavorful variety. also they are tend to rot out before ripening.
