This early melon has gorgeous, lemon-colored rinds and small size. The flesh is white, crisp and good. An easy to grow variety from Taiwan.

What are the pros? Produced in northern high alt

What are the cons? Needed extra care in wet

Review:

We live on a hilltop in western Massachusetts and usually can't get melons to mature here. This one did just fine! Nice mature melons by September, even late into the month. Young plants withstood a hot, dry spell early in the season. Needed some care to not rot during pervasive rains later, but still produced delicious little hand-full size fruits. No sign of catching the blight that's pervasive here. Will grow them again, for sure!

What are the pros? Tastes like Cantaloupe.

What are the cons? Hates Oklahoma Heat

Review:

You want to get this melon in early before the heat sets in. When heat sets in it slows way up. To my surprise though, it is a great producer and tastes like Cantaloupe, though softer. Definitely something to grow to get the melon taste before the big boys come in.
