Really good tomato has all the good traits; delicious, exotic Taste and appearance, heavy cropper, and early maturity. Really like this tomato.

Review:

My favorite tomato of all time. Love the flavor. I have gardened for many years and try to grow a new tomato each year but I always go back to this one. Color is so pretty with blushes of pink.

What are the pros? Taste!

What are the cons? plant suckers heavily

Review:

I grew these last year. Taste is mildly acidic but not sweet and with a hint of melon in there. I did not prune the suckers and ended up with lots of plant and very few tomatoes. Also... most of my other tomatoes (except the Large Barred Bore) had major issues with fungus, but not these! I am planning to grow several of them this year. I will grow them up a string and prune ALL the suckers. I am pretty sure I will get lots of good sized tasty tomatoes... I hope so anyway!

What are the pros? taste, color

What are the cons? Plant is too vegetative

Review:

It is so fussy. The early flowers often don't set, even when its neighbors are setting fruit. On a plot with other tomato plants weighed down with dozens of fruit, the Great White may have 6. Not only that, but this plant makes leaves all day long. Despite all of the headaches, this is a truly exceptional fruit. Creamy white, sweet, savory. I want to make white tomato sauce with it. I am learning how to graft tomatoes because of this variety. I hope a good rootstock can fix its shortcomings. It's worth it.

What are the cons? none

Review:

Best tomato for a tomato sandwich. They are prolific, grow large and are so uniquely flavored! Several have mentioned it is hard to know when ripe. Here is a tip: When ripe, they will have a faint red "star burst" on the bottom (blossom end).
