So unique! This bright yellow, olive-shaped radish is truly one of the most beautiful radishes I’ve ever grown. This heirloom came from Alzbeta Kovacova-Pecarova of Kosice, Czechoslovakia. A favorite spring radish that really adds color.

What are the pros? Grows fast

What are the cons? too bland

Review:

Disappointed in taste, needs more snap, tastes more like dirt than similar red radish.

What are the pros? Foolproof

What are the cons? None

Review:

Of all the radish varieties I've planted (some current and many old historicals), these performed beautifully. All matured exactly as in Baker's photo. I mean these radishes practically "popped" overnight they grew sooo well! And we're just too darn cute. I am back for a larger seed supply!

What are the pros? Flavor and Color

What are the cons? Gets pretty woody if big

Review:

A good tasting and growing radish. Color is very nice. Just be sure to pick at normal radish size or they can get woody and crack. Otherwise great! Grown in rainy Western WA in clay soil amended with topsoil and organic farm manures. No pest problems. Easy grower.

What are the cons?

Review:

I planted them early in southern California and they came up fast. Matured very quickly and produced many radishes but I was disappointed with the flavor. I found them bland and they would spoil very quickly if left out.

These radishes grow in any soil. They have very good flavor and are on the spicey side.
