What are the pros? Best tasting tomato
What are the cons? Two kinds in one seed packet
My sister and I planted seeds from one packet she purchased. Most of her yield were smaller uniformly orange tomatoes. I transplanted two seedlings from the packet that I started. One tomato plant grew the small orange tomato, the other plant grew the same as the rareseeds picture reflects, a larger red/yellow tomato. The red/yellow tomato was hands down the BEST tasting tomato I have ever had. The orange tomato was average, nothing awful but not notable. Both plants had a low yield, sadly. About 5 tomatoes from each plant. Not sure if the low yield was related to the seed error. I saved the seeds from one of the red/yellow tomatoes and hope very much I do not end up with a batch of the smaller orange tomatoes. I hope the seed error has been corrected because I will also purchase a packet of these seeds for 2017. I *HAVE* to fill my garden with the red/yellow tomato plants, no matter what you call them.
