(C. pepo) 105 days. One of the sweetest squash varieties in existence. Oblong, Delicata-shaped squash has tan skin with green stripes. Excellent quality and produces early. Developed by Dr. James Baggett, Oregon State University.

What are the pros? Delicious

What are the cons? Not a long term keeper

Review:

We bought some of these in Ohio at an Amish vegetable stand. Absolutely delicious but never lasted in storage more than a few weeks. Not sure what we did wrong.

What are the pros? Flavor, serving size

What are the cons? None

Review:

As long as I have a garden, this squash will be grown in it. I have 2 large buckets of squash remaining, after giving away another 2 full buckets of squash to friends and neighbors. Very prolific plants. Wonderful deep, sweet flavor and quick to prepare for a meal. Does not need anything on it, maybe a little salt and that's it. Perfect size for two people for a meal as a side dish. I have converted a few people who say they do not like winter squash with this variety.
