(C. pepo) 105 days. One of the sweetest squash varieties in existence. Oblong, Delicata-shaped squash has tan skin with green stripes. Excellent quality and produces early. Developed by Dr. James Baggett, Oregon State University.

What are the pros? Nothing

What are the cons? This Delicata is bitter!

Review:

This Delicata bitter! Fortunately I grew another variety of Delicata which has the wonderful sweet taste I was expecting from the Honey Boat. I'll not grow this variety again!!!

Review:

This lovely little squash managed to not only survive our worst summer in Ireland but to produce a number of well mature fruit. Love the taste and texture of the flesh. Had a bit of trouble telling it apart from Delicata until it ripened but they both grew well.

Review:

We grew this variety for a couple years on our farm and it was an easy seller. Squash fanatics would return to buy a bushel! Quite different sweet very nutty flavour that can really grow on you. I love regular delicata as well, but out of 15 different varieties of squash, this is one of my favourite. Also is a good keeper.
