100 days. Beautiful, ivory-green fruit, bright green; very sweet flesh, with classic Honeydew flavor! A superb variety.

What are the pros? nice armenian cucumbers

What are the cons? gets powdery mildew easily

Review:

The melon plant got powdery mildew that practically covered all the leaves by the end of the growing season. It might just be because it was a wet year. Nothing grew to maturity, but I ate a few immature melons.

What are the pros? Easy to germinate

What are the cons? Nearly Impossible to grow here

Review:

I was really excited to see if it would produce some melons, but i had no luck here in Jersey. I planted the things early in April and the plants just died off in September, they didn't produce any edible melons.

What are the pros? easy germination

What are the cons? tiny plants

Review:

I don't know what is up this year. Tried indoor germination and direct sow. They all germinated fine but after months they are still only a few inches tall and already trying to flower. I have never grown honeydew melons before but my watermelons are the same. I dont know what I'm doing wrong here. Very frustrating growing season. I guess i should stop with trying new varieties and stick with tried and true.

Review:

We tried Tam Dew honeydews for the first time last year in our large garden. The vines were healthy and quite productive. The somewhat spicy taste of the melon was refreshing, as many honeydews are pretty bland tasting.

Review:

I have grown this melon several years in our zone 3b short season climate utilizing plastic tunnels. It always does well, even in clay type soil.It has a wonderful flavor and keeps a few weeks after harvest. One of my favorite melons along with Petit Gris De Rennes and Yellow Gold (from another company & no longer available).
