95 days--Dramatic multi-colored ears are decorative and delicious! 4- to 5-foot plants yield up to 4 ears each. The ears are up to 5 inches long, and spangled with a wide color-range of shiny kernels in red, blue, purple, yellow, and white. Ears are produced curiously low on the plants, usually only a couple feet off the ground.

What are the pros? Good germination rate

What are the cons? Slow starter

Review:

Despite all of my inexperience and neglect, these little corn really pulled through. They easily survived both the week-long heat waves and early spring cold snaps we had in the 2017 growing season, though they took an unusually long time to progress from little shoots to full-sized plants. They were mostly un-bothered by rats and worms, though I did start having slug trouble in early fall. The corn produced both solid-colored and multicolored ears of 4-7 inches. When popped, the corns were tiny and tough, but had a nice nutty flavor. Overally, hardy and fun to grow for decoration, but not a prolific producer.

Review:

This is a fun variety. We have ended up with ears that vary in size from a couple of inches all the way to five or six inches long. Some are all yellow with a few blue spots, some are brown, and some are a mix of colors. Overall I'm pleased with both the unique shape and color, and they will look good strewn about the house this fall. I'm sure we'll pop some just to try--given the small size of the kernels, it will be mini-popcorn. We planted in a tight block (6" spacing), and even though I was away when things tasselled (so unable to help), the corn pollinated nicely and ears are full. Always nervous about small corn crops, but this went off without a hitch. The plants tolerated the hot summer we've had very well. I interspersed green onions with the corn, and we've had no pest problems. The squirrels I'm normally doing battle with did not seem interested at all. Overall this is a fun and easy to grow variety. I wish we could post photos with our reviews!
