What are the cons? None really
These squash were so prolific! I live in a short season high wind area and am used to failures, but these took off so fast and well! I had forgotten I planted them and thought they were a hybrid of leftover seedlings or something! The flesh is delicious, the shell is thick and hard, and I am still eating off of dozens in January after storing them in my basement. I love how the shells, if cracked in half, can also be used for a bowl with more fillings. These will grown forever in my garden, they had no problems with disease or bugs. Not as packed with flesh as some other varieties, but there is still enough for it to make it worth it to me. So glad I took a chance on these! Also seem somewhat drought tolerant
