What are the cons? does not tolerate transplant

Review:

I am really enjoying growing these lemon squash, it's a great alternative to zucchini and such because it is so insect resistant (haven't had any issues with four plants) and they seem to tolerate heat well- although will still do best in filtered afternoon sun this far south. The flowers are beautiful, blooming daily, and the fruit are of course, cute like a lemon. The only issues I've had with these have been the birds and squirrels being interested in them and taking a bite and the fact that I tried to transplant a couple and they almost immediately wilted and died. So, a good example of a squash not doing well with transplanting- but now that I know that I will just plant them where they will stay and I think next time I'll plant them next to stakes because they do grow upwards and can fall over. Overall so happy with this squash though and will be growing it as often as possible!
