What are the pros? Incredible flavor

What are the cons? None!

Review:

The package said that it was overpacked due to low germination rate, but all the seeds I planted did eventually sprout. Be patient, some are a bit slower. Even if you don't use this in cooking, the huge, draping leaves from this plant add not only visual interest to a garden, but the citrus scent that mosquitoes hate. Being in zone 5, I either have to overwinter the plant (which I've never done) or replant in the spring, but it's worth replanting if that's all I can do. Grab a blade of grass for a wonderful lemon flavor while you're working outside, steep some in boiling water for tea, or use the base of the stalks (a lot like green onions) for many Asian dishes. This is always a winner in my garden!

These grew so easily and are doing so well. I planted them in a half barrel and within 6 weeks I'm already supplying my Asian co-workers with lemongrass! Will definitely plant again.

What are the pros? Very pretty, quick germination

What are the cons? None

Review:

I love lemongrass but it's so expensive to buy and many times stores don't even carry it. So I thought I'd try and grow my own! This little packet of seeds went a long way. I got 4 nice sized pots filled with the entire packet of seeds. I live in FL so I have no doubt these will do well here.

It germinates quickly and plenty of seed germinates. Grows well although I prefer to grow it in containers it also grows well in the garden soil.

Review:

Bought a packet of lemongrass seeds, I live in a small town, its impossible to find it here, without driving an hour to Whole Foods or Trader Joe's. The packet said 3 to 5 weeks to germination, I planted them last Sunday, and I had sprouts by Thursday. It's been six days and it's mind blowing how good there doing. I am impressed
