What are the pros? Superb flavor
What are the cons? N/A
I started my seeds indoors in March (will start earlier next year) and planted out in May - zone 5. The soil was well composted, plus some organic fertilizer, but the plants were not prolific. I'm going to take note of what others are using for fertility. The peppers that matured, however, were medium sized and easy to dry. I teach a cooking science class and every student was stunned by the comparison with purchased hungarian paprika. Next year, I'll go with more plants and more food for them!
