60 days. Vigorous bush plants, heavy yields and fine-flavored peas. A great home garden variety. An heirloom from 1908.

What are the pros? Great little workhorse!

What are the cons? None

Review:

This past season was my first time to try any peas. Out of 4-5 varieties these were the best! They grew wonderfully in my large container and had delicious little peas. I have been surprised as I left a few when I replanted and they are still going (if not as productive) in our early approaching summer heat. Next year I'm going to adjust how I grow these and I bet they will do even better as I made few newbie mistakes this first time.

Review:

I live in Zone 8. Southern Mississippi and these peas grew so well for me here. I did not have any pest or fungus issues at all. They were beautifully filled out and the peas are so good that most times I just pick and eat them while I'm in the garden. Next year, I will be planting so much more.

Review:

My favorite produce from last year's garden. Delicious. I plan to plant rows in weekly intervals this year, in hopes of a weekly harvest beginning in late May.

What are the pros? Good yields & taste

What are the cons? ???

Review:

I planted these along with Lincoln and found them comparable in yield and taste even though these are smaller plants. I grew them in ‘blocks’ close together. They held each other up and off the ground. Easy to pick & shell. Handled uneven watering well.

What are the pros? Easy to grow in a raised bed

What are the cons? No complaints so far

Review:

I'm an amateur gardener and have had huge success with these. Jacksonville has had weird weather (cold, hot, then cold again, windy.. you name it) and these have flourished throughout. I started them indoors and transplanted them carefully when the weather was cool (around 50 degrees). I have them growing up a 5 ft. trellis, but they're about 3 feet at the moment. I have plenty of peas already and more to come! I tried my first one today and they are very sweet and great to eat off the vine. I'll definitely be growing more of these in the future.
