What are the pros? Easy to grow
What are the cons? none
I love these flowers! They do amazingly well in our 100 summers and they even survive the winter freeze. Keep in mind that they self sow and you will have them popping back up in no time. I've planted them for several years now and you don't have to try hard to get them to grow.

What are the pros? Delicate appearance but hardy
What are the cons? Some germination failure
Any germination failure could have been my fault -- I sowed them directly in the soil (which I'd done before with great success). Still one of my favorite flowers and seed pod formations.

What are the pros? Easy care, very unique
What are the cons?
Me and my roommate love these. They are low maintenance, and unique flowers that lasted 2-3 days. Out of all the flowers we planted these were by far our favorites. We shall be planting more next year.

What are the pros? Color and delicate flower
What are the cons? Hard to get started
Tried these this year. I started them in the green house and they took forever to get going. I transplanted them to the garden and eventually they did take off. The blooms were stunning but so delicate looking. The wonderful thing is, it is now December and the seeds in the garden have germinated and their coming up all over the garden. Naturally, not were I want them so I dug them up with plenty of dirt and moved them to where I want them and there loving life. We've had several good frosts already and they don't care at all. I am so excited to think I'm going to have the garden filled with these from now on.
