Review:

Radishes and basically all root crops are winter growers here, and as a trial I planted a few of these in October. Mid February, I have 3 left that haven't matured quite yet, but all of the ones that have were scarfed with a quickness. The purple color on them is pretty, and you can basically eat them like an apple once they're washed off. I generally don't really care for radishes, but this was sweet with a slight tang to it, and almost no bite at all. In retrospect, I wish I had planted out the entire raised bed in these. Interesting thing, they all didn't mature at the same rate. I would have one or two poke up, then a week later another one, and so forth. No complaints, no pests affected them, and next fall I'll plant as many of these as I can squeeze in because they were so surprisingly tasty.
