85 days. Delicious Crenshaw type melons have sweet, fine flavored pale orange flesh. The green-skinned rind develops orange spots when ripe. Fruits mature at around 4 lbs. This famous California heirloom was introduced in 1920 by Oliver Crane, whose family has been farming near Santa Rosa for six generations.
