fine-flavored Italian spinach that has dark green, savoyed leaves. This productive variety is fairly early. Rare in the USA.

What are the pros? Grows well in containers

What are the cons? n/a

Review:

I'd been looking for a spinach that would grow well in containers and late into the season, this is it. I keep shaded and it does great! Germinated quickly and slow to bolt.

What are the pros? Grows easily

What are the cons? Bolts fast

Review:

Easy to germinate, but bolts so fast. I planted these in cool weather but they still bolt and get misshapen and eaten by bugs. Don’t like it.

What are the pros? Super easy to grow.

What are the cons? Leaf miner loved them too.

Review:

Tasted amazing. My two year old would even sit on my lap to help "weed the garden" aka eat all the spinach. But alas, leaf miner got to them far too quickly so we didn't get much. Hopefully they'll do better in the fall.

I brought the seeds last Christmas. The germination rate is very high. And it's easy to grow, disease free. Very fine flavored, all my families love it! Highly recommend!

What are the pros? yummy, easy to grow

What are the cons? seeds quick

Review:

This is one of the best things I planted in the garden last year. I planted it in a sunny spot, so it bolted to seed quickly after the hot weather started, but I only planted about 1/4 pack of seeds and had MANY salads before the hot weather came. This is one of the only varieties that I will keep of any vegetable this year. Good stuff.
