Review:

This year (2018) I planted Spinach for the first time! I was never a 100% spinach fan and now I can truly say that I AM! First I will cover how I planted it: I have a raised bed aprox. 1 ft. off the ground. The soil was a mixture of regular soil about 5 litres of compost and about 2 litres of horse manure. (the boxt is aprox. 4 ft. long by 2ft. wide. After thoroughly mixing I made a trench about 1 1/2 ft. wide in the center and 3 inches deep. I sprinkled the seeds throughout the trench and then covered. They grew without a single problem from pest!! Now why I like them: I only bought it for my girlfriend who makes a potato and spinach mix but I discovered much more and EASY ways to eat them. Once I tried a taste I was hooked and thank god a lot grew so I tried them in Spinach omelettes, salads, potatoe and spinach mix, on hamburgers (vegiburgers) and even LOVED to snack on them raw while in the garden! In conclusion I highly recommend this plant even for beginning gardeners!
