What are the pros? Versatility, compact size.

What are the cons? none

Review:

This is a wonderfully versatile lettuce. I grew it for whole heads for a small CSA with friends and it performed very well. I also discovered that it can be used as cut-and-come-again or individual leaf harvest as well. The taste and tender crispness are phenomenal, let alone the beautiful red and green color.

What are the pros? Vigorous, gorgeous

What are the cons? none

Review:

Love this plant. Germination and growth is prolific and predictable. It's like the plant just wants to be eaten. The heads get dense with leaves and form a tidy, airy spiral. Fully mature heads are stunning and look airbrushed, changing color as the weather changes. Seems to be thriving in the hot weather. The pictures don't do the size or coloration justice. Looks great patch-worked in with other lettuce varieties. Flavor is distinctive and I particularly enjoy it with goat cheese and sweet flavors. Deserves a place on your lettuce roster.

What are the pros? great baby lettuce

What are the cons? none

Review:

Planted these in late March--it's late May now and I just harvested a solid 3 servings of baby lettuce from the packet I sowed--just from thinnings. Germ rate was basically 100% (space your seeds more than recommended), and the hearty, textured seedlings make great eating at about 1 inch tall. Really looking forward to harvesting heads. We got an absurd amount of rain and had problems with rabbits and flea beetles--but the lettuce is just fine. <3

What are the pros? Grows easily, very tasty

What are the cons? None

Review:

I started about 20 plants indoors on a heat mat then moved to the greenhouse later. I have some in the garden now and have been trimming leaves off the plants in the greenhouse for a few months now. Very tasty lettuce I hope I will have year round now if I can keep the greenhouse temperate this coming winter.

Review:

Southeastern Washington State, we've had a mild winter thus far, still going under greenhouse, also did excellent through spring, early summer! This is easy to grow, low maintenance. You can truly grow this all year long.
