Astounding! The world's shortest tomato plant, fit for a fairy garden, reaching a mere 6-8” tall! These dainty, dwarf determinate plants were developed by the University of Florida and are the ultimate potted vegetable plant. Super productive little plants are completely enveloped in bright red, tasty 1 oz fruit. The tidy, round plants covered in red orbs make an eye catching hanging basket or container plant. Ideal for urban gardening, indoor plants, patios or for the tiny house garden! The possibilities are endless with this novel dwarf tomato.

What are the pros? cute

What are the cons? Hard to germinate, expensive.

Review:

Hard to germinate. Expensive seeds. Only a few tomatoes per plant. I'm not impressed, and have been growing for over fifty years.

What are the pros? Short for pots!

What are the cons? Bitterish fruit flavor

Review:

Micro Tom is truly the shortest tomato plant ever! This plant is perfect for small pots! However, I wasn't too pleased with the fruit flavor. It held an average flavor, but with a slight bitterness to it. If I grow it again, I'll probably do it just for fun, like an ornamental, not so much an edible. As for recommending this variety, I would recommend it to grow it just for fun. However, there may be someone out there that won't mind the slight bitter twang, and perhaps this variety is suited for areas other than mine.

Review:

Love these little tomatoes! Worth the price. Every seed germinated. Made the most compact yet prolific plants that looked exactly like the photo. Absolutely adorable.

What are the pros? Matured quickly, productive

What are the cons? None!

Review:

Love this tomato. I am surprised how well it is doing with minimal growth. Already a few tomatoes. I had a good germination rate and the plant grew fantastic in a small container (6in). If you’re looking for something fun/easy to do with kids or your apartment patio garden then I recommend this tomato. Tiny plant with lots of productivity.

What are the pros? I love everything about BCS

What are the cons? I don't live near them.

Review:

Planted these and so far they are are very healthy beautifully compact plants that are ready to be transplanted in a pot. I am anxious to taste the toms from them. I love Baker Creek. I wish I lived closer to them.
