80-95 days. The quintessential edamame soybean! Midori giant is appreciated for heavy yields and early maturity. The large, bright green beans are considered one of the best for fresh edamame. Beans dry to a yellow color. Plants reach two feet tall and are highly branched and sturdy, requiring no staking. This variety is very well suited to all climates in the U.S and is considered a very dependable variety perfect for both large scale and small scale agriculture.
Direct sow about 1 to 2 inches deep into garden about 4 to 6 inches apart after danger of frost has passed in Spring. Succession plant at 3 week intervals to enjoy fresh edamame throughout the summer. Harvest in about 80-95 days from sowing.
