Super-early Polish variety yields very large, very thick-walled fruit, crisp, sweet and mild. The color is sublime; it starts very pale cream, ripening in due course to bright red. The smooth, sleek fruit is bullet-shaped, to almost a perfect wedge, very wide at the shoulder. Compact plants are an especially good container subject.

Kinda mad at myself

What are the pros? Long season, great taste

What are the cons? None

Review:

I’m kind of mad at myself that I forgot to order seed for this season. If I had remembered, I would already be eating fresh peppers. These are short, stocky little plants that really throw out the peppers. Of all 7 varieties that I grow, they are easily the most prolific. They are the first to produce and the last to stop. They even keep producing after a frost if covered overnight with a blanket. The peppers are beautiful; practically glowing in the dark green foliage. They are deliciously sweet with a well rounded flavor. The only problems I have with them are the strange looks my family gives the color.

What are the pros? Not many.

What are the cons? Very bland taste.

Review:

I raised 4 of these in my greenhouse with many other peppers. Eating one is like biting a sugar cube. Very sweet but no flavor. Was not a robust plant.

What are the pros? Ease of Growing, Taste

What are the cons? None

Review:

I grew these for the first time this year. I ended up with small compact plants that produce a moderate amount of fruit. I love the taste. I like bell peppers but I don't eat them often as they give me indigestion. These have a very delicate flavor similar to that of a bell pepper and don't bother my stomach. I have been enjoying them fresh in salads. The delicate flavor would likely be lost if they were used in a cooked dish.

Mira peppers pretty but bland

What are the pros? pretty, compact, well formed

What are the cons? fruit is very bland

Review:

Easy to grow, beautiful, prolific, compact and healthy! The flavor is bland and tasteless, but if you need a confidence building bush of a plant with big heavy peppers like these, this is the plant for you. I won't grow them again, but they are worth trying just for their robust habits.

What are the pros? Super easy to grow, prolific

What are the cons? No flavor, thick walls

Review:

I grew several of these peppers last year in full sun and while I had approximately one billion peppers, none of them tasted like much of anything besides water. I'm wondering if they would have done better in shade after reading some of the other reviews here
