Love the flavor and crunch of Jalapeño, but can’t take the heat? This truly heatless jalapeño is perfect for those with sensitivity or aversion to the heat of traditional jalapeño peppers. Great for pickling, stuffing, poppers and salsa. This variety is very early and prolific!

What are the pros? Bumper Crop

What are the cons? They were a bit slow to mature

Review:

I started these indoors and transplanted them to larger pots that I held in the house and then transplanted in the garden the first week of June. These grew great for me in Central Utah and provided a prolific crop of peppers. I loved them and used them in everything. They were a little late to develop though, even with starting them indoors, but in their defense, we did have a really cold Spring this year. My favorite way of utilizing my bumper crop was for Poppers. These have awesome flavorful and absolutely no heat. I will DEFINITELY grow them every year.

What are the pros? Easy to grow, ample fruits

What are the cons? No Flavor

Review:

Like another reviewer said below, these just don't seem to have any flavor. I tried peppers in ALL stages of development from too early (fresh green medium size) to very late (bright red) and all of them seemed to taste like green bell peppers. Certainly no hint of Jalapeno flavor. Sorta sad because the peppers themselves grow nice and large, perfect size for poppers.

What are the pros? Plant grew ok No disease issue

What are the cons? NO flavor

Review:

The name is correct anyway. There is nada flavor. I would love a low heat jalape?o. But this has *no heat and no flavor. This says early to mature. Mine took 120 days, so not all that early. It tastes like a long skinny green bell pepper. Thee isn’t really a point to growing it when I can just get a green bell pepper cheaply. Not a keeper for me. No particular disease issues.

What are the pros? Tasty and easy to grow

What are the cons? None

Review:

Absolutely fabulous. Not even a hint of heat and my second earliest pepper this year. My only regret is not growing more. This will always have a place in my garden.

What are the pros? Does not have one bit of heat

What are the cons? A little slow to mature

Review:

I love these peppers! All the jalape?o flavor with absolutely no heat, it’s so weird. Looking forward to making some pics de Gallo soon, right now I’ve been munching on them as I pick?? Plants we’re a little slow to get started but they are doing ok and handling 95-105 temperatures, still setting fruit. I will plant lots more next year!
