What are the cons? I have no dislikes
This is our many generation family tradition for over a hundred years. We grow the beans until they are filled out and plump. Then we snap em and pull the strings and we boil them with a little salt pork or salty bacon. We boil until they are well cooked. Sometimes we put in some taters. They taste so good. Even better as leftovers warned up again. We grow em to climb long sticks that we make in a tee-pee shape tied up top.
