Delicious prolific bean
Easy to Grow 5.0
EarlyMaturity 4.5

What are the pros? Tons of beans, delicious, ...

What are the cons? Hard to control vines

Grows very long vines with big leaves. I primarily used these to create a wall of vines to shade our patio and to eat of course. Vines grew probably 12 feet long. Produced about 45-50 days after putting seed into the ground. Tolerates heat well so far (been getting into the 90s and still producing) and dry spells. Pods grow about average size, stringless, and are pretty tender. They pickle well and are good for sauteeing. The beans are white and delicious as well, tastes similar to pinto. Both pods and beans are great in 3 bean salad. They vine like crazy and want to tangle into each other. I'm convinced these would grow 20 feet tall if they were given the trellis. For the first month so far, 8 plants produce about a pound every week, more than enough for two people plus pickles.
