90 days. Excellent, deep orange flesh; very sweet and crisp, flavor lives up to its name! Delicious tasting! We prefer orange-fleshed types over most reds and yellows—they seem to yield better here than most others. A great variety for markets.

What are the pros? Super easy grow

What are the cons? Takes alot of water

Review:

I live in alavardo tx. I've got good black dirty.but I did no soil test. I planted late in my opinion late in April. I planted 8 plant in total.i sowed seeds indoors for about 2 mths before planting in the garden. None died and no shock. Since little rain fall this year I've been water almost every nite. With temps over 105?f and being in 100% full sun. I'm impressed. No pest problems a little bloom rot on a few at first. Cut and discard those. I let one grow and it turned super sweet but very small. Then applied miracle twice two weeks apart. I'm now on my 9th melon harvested. And super amazed they seem to get bigger and sweeter Everytime I pick one. This melon weights 42lbs. Thump check sounds good an hollow. I wait three days after the tenderial dies then harvest.then I set them in the pantry to cool. I have noticed if you will cut the vine off two leaf segments past the melon. it makes the melons healthier and control's vine over growth.

Review:

Zone 8a NE Texas ~ This is the first year I have grown this watermelon. Planted in mid May due to all of the rain we had, harvested my first 17 Aug 2015, so right at 90 days. All of my melons are, like mentioned in one of the other reviews are a little bigger than a cantaloupe. Only planted six plants in a raised bed and have 8 melons, 2 harvested today, rabbit got 3 the rest will be ready in the next few days. I would say these are a more like an individual melon in size, but for me & wife they are just right. Will be growing these again

Review:

I love pretty much everything about these. I grew multiple types of watermelon last year. This was one of them. They grew so easily. They were so very crisp and sweet. I plan to grow them again this year!
