Parrot Tulip Mix (25 Bulbs)

The most flamboyant by-products of tulipmania are the Parrot tulips. They arrive fashionably late, usually blooming mid to late spring just after the more traditional, early varieties of tulips. They finish off tulip season with a bang; colors are often bright flames of color with frilly, twisted or wavy petals. Parrot tulips are a favorite of macro photographers for their gracefully contorted flower forms and stark color contrasts. (Caution: Skin contact may cause dermatitis; all parts of this plant are poisonous if ingested--do not take internally.)
