What are the cons? keep away from livestock
This plant is an excellent plant to grow if you are an organic/biologic gardener who is looking for natural pest control, diversity. The disclaimer above is appropriate and the reviews giving one star because it's a toxic plant fail to understand what they are reviewing- yes it's not an edible herb for food- it has other purposes in the garden not the least of which is preserving diversity, attracting and feeding pollinators, and repelling pests like fleas. Therefore it makes a great border around a doghouse or behind a horse stable. You can use it to make a flea spray for dog's coats or crush and rub it on your dog. It repels ants mosquitos and ticks as well. Even mice rats and rabbits hate it! So it has some amazing uses in the garden setting. It is a five star plant for what most people use it for.
