Pepper Hot, Guillet
An eye-catching, petite pepper with conical, cranberry-red pods and variegated foliage. Heirloom seed historian and breeder William Woys Weaver (whose work is featured in this year’s catalog) selected and perfected a dwarf ornamental pepper, perfect for container growing. Weaver created this variety in 1995 by crossing the Little Nubian pepper with the Fish pepper. He named it in honor of Dominique Guillet, a founder of the French heirloom seed organization Association Kokopelli. For those who love vibrant and colorful design, this is a must to grow.
