What are the pros? For me, this beats spinach
What are the cons? none
This is the second time I have grown this variety. I also grew a red stem variety this year. We liked both, but when this perpetual chard blew the other chard and all the spinach out of the water. It has a very mild flavor, none of the bitterness of other chards. We are using this interchangably in spinach and chard recipes, both cooked and raw. I hope I am never without it!
