65-75 days. Compact plants produce beautiful 8-12 ounce fruit with a very sweet, rich, dark tomato flavor. 10 out of 10 people liked the port wine colored beefsteak with metallic green stripes better than Cherokee Purple in a farmers market taste off. Select seed, grown by Brad.

What are the pros? Taste

What are the cons? Gets soft and doesn't keep wel

Review:

I love the taste but it gets soft and doesn't keep long. Heat and humidity seem to be the enemy. I've grew them for 5 years and will continue with a few plants in the future.

Very fast to maturity growing Dutch bucket hydroponics, 60 days. Metallic green with red stripes with incredible flavor. The most beautiful tomato I've ever grown.

What are the pros? Pretty and prolific

What are the cons? Gets soft quick

Review:

I was disappointed because if I did not get that tomato off the vine at the first hint of color, it went soft quick. I am a small commercial grower and I am really busy out there. If I found a fully ripe tomato chances are it was too soft and mushy to sell at market. If I just had a small home garden and could pay attention to my harvest more carefully then I would grow it again. But it did not work on a larger scale for me.
