The icy blast of wintermint fragrance makes this a lavender you won't forget. Silvery gray, ferny foliage and spikes of steely lavender-colored blooms give this edible ornamental a frosted look. The fragrance is an intoxicating mix of cool mint infused with traditional lavender! We love to tuck these tidy, 2.5-foot-tall plants into mixed container plantings, landscapes, and cottage gardens to add a touch of frosty elegance.

Growing Tips: Torch Minty Ice lavender thrives in full sun and well-draining or gravelly soil. Poor drainage can cause root rot, especially in winter. Once established, it is drought tolerant and needs deep but infrequent watering. Overwatering can harm the plant, especially in humid conditions. Fertilize very lightly, as too much nitrogen reduces fragrance. Prune after flowering and cut back one-third of the plant in late summer to maintain its shape.
