What are the pros? Gorgeous Blooms & compact
What are the cons? slow to bloom
these are really a marigold worth trying in your garden. Truly gorgeous blooms with depth of colour, very compact in my garden, lots of blooms but they were very slow to get blooming. I started inside but would definitely start sooner next time. Easy to grow from seed and no care once they are planted.

What are the pros? Beautiful & easy
What are the cons? none
I started some indoors and then transplanted and also direct seeded some right into the garden. Both did well. Compact plant fit nicely between tomato plants & such. Lovely little marigold. I'll plant again.

What are the pros? Lots of blooms
What are the cons? Can't come up with any.
I started these from seed indoors but this probably isn't necessary since these germinate so quickly. Nice bushy plants with lots of blooms.

What are the pros? Very easy
Nice neat, bushy plants that seem to grow quickly from direct seeding. Gorgeous range of oranges, sometimes mahogany. The butterflies love it, too. This is very reliable in difficult soil and neglect. I have one right now that has been flattened with the hose, stepped on, and otherwise unintentionally abused, and it looks great and bounces back. Stays relatively short here under those conditions, about 6-8" high. I have been very pleased with this lovely variety. I usually trial a few marigolds every year, and this is a repeat planter for me.
