What are the pros? Wonderful addition to my yard.
What are the cons? none
I grew these for the first time this year and was so delighted with the growth and prolific flowering. These are every bit as beautiful as the picture depicts. The butterflies have been at the flowers since they have bloomed and they are the gathering place for the yellow finches. I started the seeds in my green house in early spring and set them out when the weather permitted. All survived so I would say that they are very easy to grow. Next year I'll do the same but I'll also direct sew into the ground.

What are the pros? Pollinator, cut flowers
This is such a lovely flower! I has been a great growing season here in northern Virginia, but I'm blown away by these. They took a bit to get going, but then they just exploded. They are about 6 feet tall, with bunch of blooms branching off in various directions. I had no idea they were such prolific bloomers! The stems are silky soft, and I've cut newer blooms and they've kept in a vase for a week at least. The butterflies in my area love the blossoms and I've seen multiple feeding on the many blooms at once.

What are the pros? Gorgeous and drought resistant
What are the cons? None
These are so beautiful and easy to grow. They bloomed many times throughout the summer and into the fall and the pollinators loved them. I live in the Chihuahuan Desert and these plants enjoyed lots of sun and didn't require too much watering. Mine grew to about 4' tall. Planting many more throughout the yard and garden this year.
