What are the pros? Mild, delicate flavor

What are the cons? none

Harvested my first Ronde's today. They were slightly larger than golf balls and still had their blooms (which are gorgeous btw) because I am as impatient as any three year old. I halved them and gently stir fried them in a little butter. I only seasoned w/salt because I wanted to know their true flavor. And wow! They are mild and delicately flavored but not in a bland way. My husband who hates zucchini likes these little gems. When I first cut into them they had a strong, squashy smell making me think they would be strongly flavored, too. But I did eat them as babies and will let the other's become baseball sized as other reviewers have recommended. They will probably be more intensely flavored then. The plants are strong, productive and very attractive. It's late June and our two plants are each already 3.5-4.0 feet in diameter so give them lots of space between plants. Bush-style habit but very large.
