What are the pros? Beautiful fruit, Great taste.
What are the cons? None
This tomato has zoomed up to the top of my favorites list. Beautiful plants that produces generous crops of medium sized tomatoes. Fruit is uniform in size and has a sweet/tart balance but not overly acidic flavor.
I have grown this the past 3 years with very different summers from unusually hot to unusually cool and this tomato has never disappointed. I will plant these every year,
My only advice is to remember that this is a pink tomato. Don't let it over ripen before harvesting.

What are the pros? Wonderful meatiness and flavor
What are the cons? Use fresh. Does not store well
I have family heirloom tomatoes (a Brandywine) that I used to grow exclusively. However, Rose deBerne from Baker Creek is the only seed I buy and grow, in addition. I mention the Brandywines because I think this Rose deBerne tomato has that excellent flavor, thin skin, meaty interior, and it ripens earlier than larger tomatoes. It is also versatile, being good for both sandwiches or a flavorful tomato sauce when cooked with some herbs.

Last season I grew this tomato from the seeds from Baker Creek. Everything was ok except half of those seeds in package were some sturdy red cherry type (maybe a cross) and half really rose de berne. Anyway, last season was so hot in southern Europe, with terrible drought, so these tomatoes were so sweet, more like a peach or apricot. So I had to pick them underripe. Trying them again for sure!
